The South Island's most northern cultural and spiritual holiday experience,

on Arapawa Island in the beautiful Queen Charlotte Sounds.
We are located some twenty five miles from the nearest port
of Picton and can be travelled to only by marine vessel with a service being offered from there to the holiday site.
The opportunity
exists to participate in a variety of healthy outdoor activities from
fishing, diving, hunting, hill top hiking, crewing as a member of
a polynesian style waka ama kayaking . Enjoy the oratory and tales
and history of this very special part of Aotearoa (NZ) along with
the myths and legends that surround the whenua and occupy a very important
part of our New Zealand history of days gone by.

Plant a native tree on the island property as a memorial to your visit
to us memorialised in perpetuity as your contribution to the green
house gas world wide problem.
Our kaupapa or policy is to establish and continue to operate this
facility on the basis of devout manakitanga, hospitality, cultural
and whenua spiritual experiences and extend these policies to our
manuhiri, whilst providing food and shelter and care.
Bag your catch of fresh water crayfish, koura from the ponds and stream.
Cook at your leisure on the deck barbecue along with other shell fish
also available with in close proximity to the home stead facility
.
We also extend an invitation to those boaties whom enjoy a day's fishing
and diving at East Bay. Hot water showers and hot drinks, hot scones
and muffins are available from the home stead kitchen come ashore
and perhaps also join in with others in the activities including deck
barbecue dining and wining.
We also extend to our guests the opportunity to be involved in the
on site manufacture of stone product, including green stone product manufacture,
which can be taken by our guests as a momento of their stay with us.
