You can also visit many historical areas located within the Queen Charlotte Sounds such as SHIPS COVE where Captain Cook landed on several voyages to this area, the Long Island marine reserve and other historical spots.

PLANTING OF NATIVE TREES.

Guests can plant a native tree, such as Pohutukawa, Cabbage Tree, Punga, Manuka or Kanuka, and have it tagged and named for them and dated, it will grow to become a memorial to the guests visit and stay with us. THIS IS ALSO A CONTRIBUTION TO REDUCING THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT.
